Effective Interpersonal and Performance Accountability Approaches and Models

Effective Interpersonal and Performance Accountability Approaches and Models

As with many aspects of healthcare, the public health arena is very concerned with the overall capability and performance of staff relative to how they get along. This is important because interpersonal relationships directly impact an organization’s ability to implement change successfully, especially when relational stressors exist. Performance accountability is directly tied to the status of interpersonal relationships, thus, when people get along, they tend to perform better.

Based on the module readings, respond to the following:

  • Discuss what you have learned about effective interpersonal and performance accountability approaches and models.
  • How will you apply what you have learned to the public health organization you have selected for your course project? The organization I have selected is the Commissioned Corps of the U.S Public Health Service

Write your initial response in 4–5 paragraphs. Apply APA standards to citation of sources.
